Build Bricks, Build Muscle
First things first. There is now a supplemental needs trust set up for Kirk for your gracious donations, so the GoFundMe page will be deactivated. To donate to Kirk's recovery going forward, please write checks to "Lake Elmo Bank, Trustee of the Kirk Ingram Supplemental Needs Trust" and mail to:

Also, this weekend, a group of people came together to sweat and stretch in honor of Kirk. Here are a few pictures, which definitely don't give justice to the pain and difficulty breathing we all felt during the workout!
A huge THANK YOU to Mike and Katie Bjornson for kicking our butts, and to Sara for helping us relax with some yoga afterwards! We appreciate you taking time out of your Saturday to lead a class for us.
For those who are interested, Mike will be hosting another event like this at the Woodbury Life Time, sometime in late February/early March. More details to come!

Event Updates
There are a couple of events coming up soon, so we want to make sure everyone knows about them!
This is an online event through KEEP Collective, where you can design your own bracelets or necklaces! Using letters, charms, or pre-printed words, create a piece of jewelry that you will cherish, in honor of Kirk, Melissa, Alexa, and family. All after-tax profits go to Kirk and Melissa, and Melissa will even receive special hostess gifts!
The date and time are significant, because you can ask questions or preview mock designs from the event coordinator, Nissa Jean. For more information, please contact Nissa through the Facebook event site: KEEP Collective - Facebook Event
Here are a couple pictures, to spark some creative design ideas!
Saturday, January 23, 2016 - 9:00 am - 11:00 am

The classes are intended for all fitness levels, with modifications for beginners as well as advanced participants. Woodbury Lutheran Church has graciously offered space for this event. BEL13VE In Miracles
Thanks to the efforts of the BEL13VE In Miracles Foundation, $300,000 has been contributed to new research on spinal cord injuries at Mayo Clinic, specifically related to epidural stimulation therapy. At Saturday's fundraiser, A Night to BEL13VE, NHL great Jeremy Roenick, former Yankee David Wells, former Minnesota Wild defenseman Jordan Leopold and WCCO’s Mark Rosen, along with countless others, gathered to show their support to spinal cord research. The WCCO crew was also on-hand, and their newscast can be seen here: WCCO - Night to BEL13VE
TeamKirk represented as well, including Baby Alexa in her Wild jersey. She even wore headphones to drown out the crowd at the game, and she looked pretty adorable! Here are some pictures from the night:
Another TeamKirk event is coming up on Friday, December 11, at Famous Dave's in Uptown. Please join us!
Finally, don't forget to bring your Teammate Card to Buffalo Wild Wings on the U of M Campus through December! Show the card below, and 10% of your bill will go back to Kirk's fund. You can show a printed version of the card or show it to your server on a mobile device. More details are on the Calendar page.

Kirk Strong
If you've been following the Caring Bridge site, you know that Kirk has been absolutely killing it in therapy and has made some significant strides in his recovery!
Here are some of the more recent photos (video coming soon too!) that have been taken of Kirk and family, including a few adorable pictures of Alexa as she continues to grow.
And... more Alexa!
As always, thank you all for your continued love, support, and prayers during Kirk's recovery. If you're looking for a new way to help out, Lucas Ingram is setting up another meal calendar for Kirk's amazing caretakers, as volunteering time after work typically does not allow them time to eat a home cooked meal. If you're interested, please contact Lucas or keep an eye out, and we'll pass along the link when it becomes available.
Finally, if you haven't purchased your tickets for A Night to BEL13VE, you still have until November 6 to get them! The event is sponsored by the BEL13VE In Miracles Foundation, and is perfect for hockey enthusiasts and supporters of spinal cord injury research. Tickets include a Pre-Game Dinner, Live & Silent Auctions, and Special Program, and can include a ticket to see the sold out Minnesota Wild vs. Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game that night at Xcel Energy Center.
More details can be found using the following link: A Night to BEL13VE
